When I was a kid, I remember traveling to the Netherlands when tulips were in full bloom. I was so small all of the flowers towered over my head. As I walked through them, I felt like I was floating through all of these vibrant colors. When painting flowers like this, I get to reminisce in that feeling of flying and being in complete awe of how beautiful flowers are. I can smile and loose myself while looking at these flowers, and I really hope someone else will have this painting and get lost in the same way.
